Who are your oldest known ancestors?

On my father's side, my oldest known ancestor was a Bohemian nobleman, member of an old Saxon family. He was governor of two Silesian duchies and fought on the Catholic side in the Hussite wars in the 15th Century.

On my mother's side, my ancestors belonged to the Alsatian aristocracy, members of the House of Saint Jacques before the French Revolution. My oldest known relative fought the British during the Thirty Years War.

A 14th century man named Krømme. I picture him speaking in grunts under a thick beard, but he was probably quite civilized in reality.

My oldest ancestor that i know of is Serbian Hajduk Petar Smiljanic from Dalmatia. He was in service of Venetian Republic.
He was born probably around early 1600s and he died in battle againts Turks in 1648.
His son Ilija was also a very famous Hajduk, there is a lot of folks songs about him.

Unless it is direct paternal ancestry (or eventually, mother's direct paternal ancestry), it has zero importance.

Going by that non-logic, I'm descendant of every nobleman of Dinaric Alps (and further) and every clan founder here. No, let's take it even further, through ties to I1-P109 clan I'm related to William the Bastard as well.
