Arrogant? I don't think so. "Humble" Americans tend to fall into two camps: They either want to remake America in the image of the rest of the world so as to gain the dubious approval of an undefined global populace or they are worried about what the rest of the world thinks of us because a negative opinion might affect their regime-building plans.
