Curly hair is most prevalent in NW Europe It seems to be most prevalent in particular in Ireland. I get my hair from my Romanian side even though curly hair is much rarer in Romania compared to Norway. Everyone in my mom's family had curly hair. Grandpa, grandma and my mom. Both me and my brother inherited it, though not as curly as our Romanian family. The curliest was my Romanian grandpa

Heh my mom has curly thick hair and so did her dad. But yeah it's not common there.

According to 23andme I was supposed to come out curly but they got that wrong. Mine is straight but both thick and soft, while my dad's was just regular thin and straight.

Also the curly hair of Africans is not the same texture as those of Europeans. Although with Horners and some North Africans it is intermediate to Middle East.
