in Sardinia curly hair in not very common, most people have straight hair, many have wavy hair; natural curly hair is more common among women, less common among men

It's ridiculous how genotards can't offer an explanation to many questions. Like the Basque one. You can't tell you are alike certain population if you look nothing like it. Case closed.

Because... men keep their hair short. Men have curly hair as often as women do in Sardinia(or anywhere else in the world), but curly hair curls up only when it's long.

Only my mom and Romanian granddad had curly hair. I know a few Norwegians with curly hair and I know a Norwegian guy that has actual curly hair, but he straightens it. I didn't know it were that many, but I know curly hair is found among Europeans just by reading Coon.

Darker haired Europeans still have finer hair than Asian people. Asian people have much coarser and thicker strands than Europeans.

The cross-sectional area of East Asian hair fibres averages about 30% larger than that of Africans and 50% larger than that of Europeans.

I have curls or maybe very wavy hair, and I've always hated it. My curls are big (not tight) and in some parts hard to "form", sometimes my hair is in between and I get frustrated (Lucky we get to straighten it which is what I do most of the time, also straight hair looks better with my face shape). Its SO much convenient to have simple straight hair.
