Most Italian-Chileans must be Northern because I know quite a few Rossi, Bianchi and also Ferrari, Colombo, Parodi, Zunino, Canepa, Musso, Costa, Cerutti, Lombardi, Moro...

But I don't know any Russo, Caruso, Rizzo, Perri, Romeo, Greco, Esposito, Mancini, D'Angelo, Di Marco, Di Francesco, Sanna, Pinni, Serra... I only know one Messina and one Lombardo.

Here they are all common, i both northern and southern. For example i practically know argentines or even friends with all those surnames.

But as you said italian surnames have a huge variation and 10 most popular are only 1% of the pop.
