This is a fallacy (phallacy ) which many people believe to be true. It is, however, false.

Now, for a simple anatomy lesson from Nurse Kazimiera:

Ejaculate is the result of many structures within the male genital system working in conjunction with each other to produce the final product.

1.) The testicles produce spermatozoa (as in the cells only) with a very small amount of fluid. During orgasm, the testicles contract and force the spermatozoa in a very small amount of fluid up through the vas deferens or spermatic duct.

2.) The seminal vesicles, through which the spermatozoa have to pass, produce the majority of the carrier fluid (about 70%). This is only produced during sexual arousal.

3.) The prostate gland produces about 30% (give or take) of fluid. It is also alkaline, to protect the sperm as it is transported through the acidic female genital tract. This is also only produced during sexual arousal.

4.) Cowper's glands (bulbourethral glands) produce the clear, slight sticky substance known as pre-cum. The fluid from the Cowper's glands is responsible for neutralising the acid (caused by urine) in the urethra when the male is aroused. The Cowper's glands only become active with sexual arousal.

So, to create the juice you squirt out in the end, there are at least four major structures in place to get it that way, which only spring into action with sexual arousal. There is no so-called "damming up" of fluids in the testicles.

If one followed the logic that the testicles contain all the fluids which make up the final product, it would mean that men who have had a vasectomy (and whose vas deferens have been cut) would have bursting testicles. Men who have had a vasectomy don't have bursting balls. Why? Because only the sperm is produced in the testicles and not any of the other fluid. What happens to all the sperms cells then? They have a limited lifespan and are absorbed back into the system in an efficient way. There is no "build up" of fluid.

Also, men who have had a vasectomy don't ejaculate fresh air when they have an orgasm. Since the Cowper's glands, seminal vesicles and prostate gland are still working, they ejaculate the same amount and type of fluid that a man who has not had a vasectomy does. The only thing missing from this man's ejaculate are the sperm cells.

It is natural for a male to be sexually aroused more often and easier than a female. When the female's fertile period comes around every now and again and wants to mate, the male has to be ready.
