We dont have to get into a big fight over it. Really i just personally think some of this is over exaggerated but i have too see for myself to make an honest conclusion. But i know US dominicans are not that homogenous like its being painted out to be. Theres more variation than being pushed here.
But really Im really more interested in my personal geneology then whole countries racial make up. Especially since my subclade of my haplogroup is rare. I also had a match with someone of different ethnic group. We found each other through match. He 67 ydna str markers and came back with very recent time line. Max at 16 generations with 100 percent chance. But still stays pretty high in 99 /98/97 till about 6 -7 generations then it drifts dramatically down to 80 percent chance. We have different paternal surnames also which is weird.

dominicans look different from cubans.. and i'm not meaning of skin color.. but of face features; i think the blacks of cuba were different from the africans of dominican republic
