Same here...I had a very extensive stockbook of of Blue stamps from the Confederate States era back in 5th grade. Won a school Philately award for it. I spent alot of money buying the stamps from this now defunct coin and bookstore. I dont think young people are into this hobby nowadays...I used to collect stamps when I was younger. Unfortunately I lost my collection during my travels around London. But, I am interested in starting a collection again of South African stamps. Those are the best

The iconography is typically christian, however. Sharjah is the most (religiously) muslim city of the UAE as well. There are many christian South Asians living there, though. I guess it's for them?
