1950's-1960's was a specific period. USA did not support France and Britain in Egypt in 1956 and France in Algeria. So France and UK did not support USA in Vietnam. A sad heritage of rivalry in their colonial past

The US brokered the peace agreement in the Sinai crisis and sent support to Israel, we did not back the taking of the canal by France and the UK. The UK gave the US support in Vietnam, as well as special forces assistance. France did nothing. You are the only nation not reciprocating.

The time of national superpowers in the West has gone Irretrievably. Even USA can not play this role today being alone. So when i hear peoples like Trump, Le Pen and clowns like Farrage or Johnson that's really surprised me. They're tryin to stop progress and reanimate dead body.
