    Default European National Mottos

A motto is a maxim, a phrase meant to formally summarize the general motivation or intention of an individual, family, social group or organization. Mottos are usually not expressed verbally, unlike slogans, but are expressed in writing and usually stem from long traditions of social foundations, or also from significant events, such as a civil war or a revolution. A motto may be in any language, but Latin has been widely used, especially in the Western world.

    "Long live Belarus!"

    very original. lol

"Rather death than dishonor" = Brittany

stole that from my family crest.

"In my defens God me defend" = Scotland

Will always be hilarious to a native English speaker.

"It is Austria's destiny to rule the world"

    holy shit

Anyways my favorite is probably France's.

Moldova's Limba noastra sounds so ironic hahahahaha
All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races, going nowhere, going nowhere
