My knowledge of Turkish is rusty. I haven't practiced for 10 years. What does the title mean? The Man who Saves the World and The Son of the Man who saved the World?

Yes the son of the man who saved the world is the sequel of both 1982 and 2006 versions of the man who saves the world.

It's funny because I realize I never forgot my Turkish. It's just sleeping somewhere in my brain, waiting to be awakened.

Sometimes, I get pop-up ads for Turkish Airlines, I understand almost everything: "son dakika" (last minute), "her fırsatta" (on all occasions), "uçakla" (by plane),

Not so long ago, I was listening to audio lessons in Farsi. I realized I knew some words (Osmanlı Turkish borrowed these words from Persian).
"Lesson" in Farsi is something like "dars" (almost like Turkish ders) and "translate" is very similar to Turkish tercüme.

All I need to do to refresh my memory is return to Turkey.

Good for you. It's nice that you have learnt many languages when you were younger. Now all you have to do is awakening them if you need it eventually. Languages do fade away from the brain's usable memory but it is hidden deep inside of non-usable part waiting to be extracted again.
