Although in the US, I think that most second generation immigrants do generally assimilate. The only ones who have trouble speaking English are older immigrants who came here in their 20s or older. Most second generation immigrants, those born here to immigrant parents or immigrated as a young child, speak fluent English and are generally assimilated with mainstream culture.

I agree, but it is more about eliminating the potential for the development of parallel cultures as we see in Europe at the moment, and to a lesser extent with newer hispanic immigrants to the US. Cultural cohesion is a must.
That's not to say that I'm against 'Chinatown' or 'Little Italy', not at all, I'm against immigrants hovels becoming more common than they already are.

I agree. Although Chinatown only existed because in the past, the Chinese weren't even allowed to assimilate. They were discriminated against and forced into ghettos. The only people who live in Chinatown today are old and senior immigrants, most who do not have an education and they live in senior housing there. The vast majority of Chinese Americans do not live in Chinatown anymore.

Even forced into ghettos, the Chinese integrated into society more cohesively than hispanics do today. Dont believe me? Check out San Diego.
This was because, as harsh as it sounds, society was not willing to tolerate a group not assimilating. Combine that with the fact that the Chinese literally had to cross an ocean to get to California (and thus only those who really saw opportunity in America came, unlike welfare migrants in Europe today).
I wish to promote that same sort of environment, but in a more-civic nationalist, rather than racist fashion.

Well, that has more to do with culture. Most second generation Mexicans speak English fine. But Chinese people are just more focused on academics and moving up socio-economically so they are a lot more integrated than Mexican Americans are. Chinese Americans in big cities are for the most part, pretty much culturally identical to liberal White people in their cultural preferences and economic status.

I think the country should allow people who are Christians or Jewish and more Europeans who are non-Atheist.
Immigrants with alien cultures, alien religions, alien customs ,and with non European languages don't really assimilate into American culture.
The USA is a Christian-Judeo nation.
Limit immigration from countries that are enemies to the USA.

They are still racially foreign. As are Japanese and the rest of you Asians. Don't you think it's time to put a cap on the amount of your people (and Hispanics) entering California?
I would say the same for Indians too by the way. But Indians do NOT have the numbers and presence that your community has, and also aren't trying to take it over demographically either. By the way Indians assimilate quite well too, as do Persians.
