Variation among them certainly. They didnt have so strong Siberian features İ guess, Frankish chroniclers and claim of similar ancestry with Turks wouldnt be so outspoken were they very much Siberian in look. There were also Turks such as Pechenegs serving for Byzantines as Mercenaries back then.

Today Turkmenians sometimes low as 15% (few Turkish individuals get 18 percent like Yoruks). Most Turkmenians between 15-25 with some more as you go more north. and they have different influence since 1000 AD. 40% for Seljuks is too much. 40% is close to modern Kazakhs.
