    My opinion: 95% of Irish can pass as English, whereas only 70% of English can pass as Irish. The reasons for this asymmetry aren't just Germanic influence, but also a definitely more brunet segment in England (lots of people with dark hair and eyes)
    That is a Gaelic Athletic Association team so I doubt they are anything but Irish. It is like saying that the English aren't English because some Vikings were in that part of the country.

    Here's a team from Kilkenny. They look like what they are typical Irishmen.

    Duh!!!!!!!!! There was an Anglo - Saxon kingdom which occupied parts of southeastern Scotland.
