    Default mt-DNA: H11a

Anyone else have an mt-DNA of H11a? And/or, do you know anything about it?

This is what I got. Could you perhaps explain it? Im lost.

Markers found (shown as differences to rCRS):

    HVR2: 146C 263G
    CR: 750G 961G 1393A 1438G 4769G 8448C 8860G 9150G 12651A 13759A
    HVR1: 16311C

IMPORTANT NOTE: The above marker list is almost certainly incomplete due to limitations of genotyping technology and is not comparable to mtDNA sequencing results. It should not be used with services or tools that expect sequencing results, such as mitosearch.

Why do you have both H11 and H11a as your first best mtdna haplogroups? Whatever your first best haplogroup is then that's most likely what it is via the upload on the website I posted. Mine was H11a1 but I did the ftdna coding region anyway to make sure. Either way it's associated with the eastern areas of Europe.
