The EDL is right about immigration, but wrong about Islam. They need to control their borders in general, but not against Muslim in particular.
So I do agree with her, no reason to harrass a Hijabi for her faith.

The issue is not Islam. They should be screening people of all backgrounds before letting them enter, and should not be accepting refugees. Refugees involve the government literally spending tax money to finance foreigners immigrating to a country, where they will then be an economic burden, all for the sake of appeasing their conscious. If a private group wishes to assist political refugees, I will be more than happy to support their cause, but constituent's tax dollars should not be spent on such things.

Very few Muslim countries require any sort of headscarf. Most countries which ban more conservative Islamic dress, are majority Muslim, as well. It is a choice.

If they want to focus on one thing opposing islamic immigration is the most obvious because it has the biggest net-negative. You're biased as hell. You can close the border to all groups, but if the UK had to only choose one group, muslims would be the no-brainer.

I'm actually not suggesting they close their borders, merely strongly prorect then - eg EXTREME VETTING. If more Muslim are denied because of that, so be it, but you cany just ban an entire religous group.
