The Deep State Democrat/media narrative critical of Donald Trump -pushing unfounded conspiratorial claims of collusion with Russia- designed to distract from the contents of the leaked Democrat emails has been neatly curtailed in one fell swoop by the recent US attack on a Syrian government military base.
No longer can the Deep State claim Trump-Russian collusion, considering the US attack was upon a major Russian ally, within the Russian sphere of influence & elicited a very harsh Russian response.
Yes, Trump risks damaging his credibility with his core isolationist constituents who will fail to see the Machiavellian sophistry & realpolitik necessities at play, but he not only gains the support (on this issue) of domestic enemies such as the Democrat warmongers (military industrial complex) -including the media- & the Neo-Cons within his own party, but also puts his foreign enemies off-balance through both his willingness to utilise his might & also his seeming unpredictability.
Next Trump is masterfully pitching a "good cop, bad cop" narrative involving his cultivated son-in-law Jared Kushner & his chief champion Stephen Bannon whose relationship will now the the subject of much media speculation.
Simply Trump, again playing 3 steps ahead of everyone else, has proved his genius.
