I get why rich people live in the bay area- but tbh it isn't a very compelling place to live if you're wealthy. Barring the food scene and napa, there aren't many accommodating places for the very wealthy.

The Bay Area's weather is what draws a lot of people. People often dont believe me when I say that San Fransisco never gets below 45F or above 85F ever. It's constant decent weather, usually in the 60s, all year long.

SF (the city in particular, not the surrounding areas- except maybe marin) weather can be a drag IMO. Cooler than the surrounding areas, often fog-laden and nippy.

I guess I'm just used to it. I run a lot, so I prefer things a tad cooler. 65F is perfect running weather.

Can't argue with that statement (50s are great too). But my stance still holds that SF weather is overrated. 60s never felt as cold as in SF.

I think it depends where you are, a Presidio 60 is a lot colder than a Mission 60.

True. When in SF I spend the bulk of my time in the area spanning SoMa and the Marina district (imagine a polygon bounded by those neighborhoods and the bay)
