A Question About NASA Photographs

Whilst I am no "Flat-Earther" I would recommend the following conspiratorial documentary on the moon-landings:




NASA has been caught digitally manipulating photos & has even admitted to doing so & there are many questions to ask including how they could possibly have "recorded over" the original moon-landing footage (as story which seems dubious at best).



That said I would like people to look at the following photos, released by NASA, which clearly show something curious is going on. The scale of North America is clearly different in each;





So what is going on with these two NASA photos of Earth?
