How is Easter celebrated in your country?

We have a 4 day weekend and head to our holidays homes where we eat bucket loads of chocolate marshmellow eggs bought to us by a bunny. It has something to do with God!

Starts tomorrow. 2 hours of church then. And two hours of church the day after with communion. Then normal 2 hours of church on Sunday and big family celebration with yummy food (mostly slavic food since that's what my family is) after church. This is how protestant slavs mostly roll, but our church is diverse so not only slavs. No easter egg hunts or bunnies. My church is against that.

ours goes for four days
wife has orthodox chants playing in the house all day everyday for four days
thursday - wife prepare eggs and easter bread then go to church thursday night
friday - relax with family no tv, no internet, go to church at night for the epitaph.
saturday - children go to sleep around 2pm and are woken up 5pm so they stay awake for christs resurrection
saturday night - to church and celebrate christs resurrection go home and eat a meat dish with family to end fasting
sunday - 6am go to father in laws and help prepare lamb on spit where about 20 people later join for big easter lunch.

so for those four days my family is in a religious/ spiritual trance.. its nice and soothing.

In Moldova region(I don't know about Bessarabia) aside from egg painting,the locals make huge campfires against the "evil spirits".

Here we're painting eggs, rabbit symbol is used as well to represent fertility and parents hide chocolate eggs in garden saying Bells left some gifts during the last night for them. Then kids have to hunt in garden and find them lol. People eat lot of chocolate and usually gather in family, having a lunch.
