Perhaps Spain and France had not enough wars each other being neighbors countries just because the rest of time that we were not in war both countries were allies, specially against England, due mainly (although not only) the Pactes de Famille https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacte_de_Famille
But I do think there were many Spanish-French wars, enough to claim a strong rivalry. Even more if we take account that many of these wars were produced to decide which country would be the first European power (the Italian Wars https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_Wars).
Only in Italy we had tons of wars in a few decades.
