G'day from Australia

I noticed a mention of this forum on another forum I have been a member of for a number of years and decided to take a look around.

What I have read so far is quite interesting and there seems to be an interestingly diverse group of people here so I thought I may occaisionally be able to contribute.

I was born and raised here in South Australia and my family has for many generations been people of the land, (cropping, sheep and cattlemen).
I am the first of my family not to continue and now own and operate a retail business.
I still maintain a strong interest in things rural as you may take the boy out of the country but you can never take the country out of the boy.

As my work takes up most of my time, I will not be a serial poster but, will make an effort to read as much as I can and join in when time permits.
