No child was sacrificed. Jesus isn't a child. Jesus is God. Once again we're back to a Muslim having difficulties with abstractions. Everything is understood in a materialistic sense among Muslims. I don't believe in Christianity or Judaism but I never had issue with the logic adherents to those religions base their belief (obviously there are issues if you look at other possibilities; you can be logical and incorrect if your information is limited).

This is two different worlds. One of flesh (human) and one of spirit(God's world) and so you need to accept the differences that each brings because each will not be expected to be the same when they do not even look the same.
And the child is God Himself in human form. So if He wanted to love us enough to die for us to snatch us back from satan since it was the price required then He had that right. What parent would not put their life down for their child?

Because Islam allows room for only one mental gymnastics: Belief in The Creator. Point blank, everything once that faith is given is all pragmatism and logical.
Christianity goes like...make room for one mental gymnastic: Belief in the Creator....then make room for an abstract concept whose sole purpose is to explain the perceived FAILURE of Jesus meeting TORAH requirements for Messiah-hood. ("Oh the messiah was not a failure...God made him fail on purpose because losing is winning, and this loser was in fact God himself, but also his son, and also a bit of 'ether' added in there called the Holy Ghost, because we all can use a bit of the ether".)

Christianity's central theme is forgiveness. It is the entire point of the faith.
What is Islam's? It boils down to accepting Muhammad as prophet and basically nothing else. There is no concept of repentance. Islam is merely a set of rules. No spirituality.

The audacity of Christians is this...They (Jewish community who believed in Jesus being the prophesied messiah) await his Kingship as prophecied in the Torah...Jesus comes, declares to be the messiah etal...but alas, the feds get to him and lock him up and sentence him to capital punishment. The Jews who following him WITNESSING THIS. The Christians want the Jews to ignore the immense failure they just witnessed (according to the very Christian account of how things transpired) and to believe this man, who just faced the firing squad of his era, or the electric chair...returned 3 days later, and will return again...and lo, this guy who just got zapped in the electric chair, he is He who created the Milky Way Galaxy, the Atomic particles...but here he is now, hanging from some cross made out of branches that He created...condemned to death by creatures that He created, and so on.
The most offensive and audacious act is inspite telling the Jews to be stupid buffoons and insult their intelligence....they have the nerve to KEEP the Old Testament ALONGSIDE the New Testament...would be like having The Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf in one book titled "Holy Socialism".
Its warped and comical.

Is it logical to place limitations on an omnipotent being? That's what Muslims do when they deny the Holy Trinity.
How did he lose? Christianity became a religion worshiped by millions and unlike Islam it initially spread peacefully. There was no incentive in the first few centuries to become a Christian. There was no offer of spoils of war, concubines, and wealth by conquering others. There was no incentive for someone to adopt Christianity so as to avoid being a second class citizen. People chose Christianity for its merits. People chose Islam because they didn't want to pay a tax or have their loved ones taken from them.Christianity goes like...make room for one mental gymnastic: Belief in the Creator....then make room for an abstract concept whose sole purpose is to explain the perceived FAILURE of Jesus meeting TORAH requirements for Messiah-hood. ("Oh the messiah was not a failure...God made him fail on purpose because losing is winning, and this loser was in fact God himself, but also his son, and also a bit of 'ether' added in there called the Holy Ghost, because we all can use a bit of the ether".)
Complicated religions for people who can handle abstractions. Simple religions for people who rip off previous religions and then say, 'It's really hard to understand. Lets just say people distorted it because I (Muhammad) don't have a firm grasp on the religions I'm ripping off.'
