Why US is alpha in Mena but not in East Asia?

man I waited you personally contributed to last Nord Korea threads but you were missing. But you are always there to write in Mena threads. You say Empire will crush all resistance in Mena etc but you dont write anything similar in East Asia matters

North Korea just isn't strategically important enough. It doesn't have the capacity to disrupt the American imperial programme in the same way that middle eastern nations do. It does have nukes, which is a problem, but in reality they are pretty useless. They could not be used without the whole country facing total annihilation within minutes. North Korea will probably just become a kind of bargaining chip in US-China relations.

Fanboys of mass rapists, slaughterers of civilians etc will hate the US, it comes as a natural result of butthurt. Yet watch the US do something even slightly, potentially, maybe positive towards them and they will change their tune, like good boys. (Serbia and Trump). I doubt anyone on this planet would prefer China or Russia as superpowers over the US. In terms of military strength there's so much more the US could do but it keeps holding back due to self reflective criticism and political resistance, ya'll are lucky.

Also, the Trump administration seems to be going balls deep into things. The good America is back, on some Reagan era type shit, who would've thought.

The US has already established ever since the Korean war that if North Korea would invade the South then they would bust North Korea's ass wide open. They have never overstepped a red line that could make it worth it to invade. Most of the time much of the reason not to invade is because the South Koreans say no, as they are in the risk zone.

With Syria Assad has been actively slaughtering his population rather than the usual Middle Eastern way of more subtle imprisonments with all the rape and torture that comes with it. That's where the line has been crossed and since neighboring US-allies are in agreement that a US invasion is sort of ok, it should be done. China is not engaged there at all and Russia has already distanced itself slightly politically from Syria, if the US goes in they'll agree on a "mutual Russian-US peace settlement" for political purposes and be done with it. As it is now Russia is just saving Assad for their geopolitical needs in the middle east, ignoring that he's lost pretty much all support from his country, and any moral justification to rule the country at all.

How often do you hear Russians speak badly of Assad or critically analyze the Assad regime? The US constantly monitored the resistance groups in Syria and never firmly picked a side. They were with the majority population and for new elections which would probably mean Assad would be dethroned, that's the cause of this.

Feels like walls of text, it's just too much to say. I feel the US is extremely under-appreciated and the anti-Americans are only so in words, not in actions. Same goes for anti-westerners in general.

USA is too imperialistic maaaaan! Meanwhile ex-Soviet allies couldn't run faster away from anything even reminding them of that legacy. For some people though, even when it's black on white it's not clear enough.

Sort of, they have nuclear weapons, but the delivery platform i.e the missile is still being developed, at present it can really only make it to Japan and not reliably, also the systems are so far behind the times they are easily taken out by ABM systems. Russian systems however dodge, have dummy warheads ect, those are hard to take out after the missile gets past stage 1. I don't see what all the fuss is about really, SK has a modern well equipped military with the support of big players like Japan and the US, NK doesnt, even China just told them to knock it off.
