Speaking of crashing the economy... I heard it cost US$5000 for every missile that was fired during the expensive and failed wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. How much did all those bombs, missiles, tanks, aircraft, submarines, ships, drones, and all that expensive military equipment cost the American taxpayers? Or is the US military operating on debt-ridden credit cards and yet more bank loans from China..? Where's all that money to fund their military expenditure coming from given the levels of debt in western nations?

The wars didn't cause the recession, although they certainly didn't help. Deregulating the financial sector and bundling bad loans with good loans and selling them to foreign investors crashed it when the sub prime reset came and there were loads of defaults. Technically the crash started after the dot com crash, that's how bubble economies always operate. The bankers knew they were doing it, they were nicknamed liars loans, first time buyers and people that couldn't afford a home were encouraged to lie and inflate their income and the banks didn't verify the stated income.

Running a deficit is fine, but it needs to be regulated.

This is only the tip though, once the futures market goes there isn't enough money in the world to bail it out.

Well we aren't with regards to ICBM's or ABM systems, we still use the minute man 3, got rid of the peacekeeper, and rely on an upgraded navigation system trident 2 d-5 for most deterrence. Our THAAD system can't deal with missiles that have counter measures and there isn't really many of them.

Russia just introduced the SATAN 2, fully in service by 2020, which is by far the most advanced ICBM, and their ss-400 and ss-500 systems are better ABM systems than the THAAD.

If they are so far ahead of Russia they are certainly keeping a good lid on it, but I don't think they are.
