Russia and China cannot make war against their main clients (USA, Europe, Japan and South Korea), it would be a disaster for their economies and they would die of famine.

China even suspended its support for North Korea because how its economy is tied with USA.

Russia is paying high price by its support in Syria and just because this war is a war of Russia, not of Syria. Russia isn't defending Syria, Russia is defending its gas/oil market in Europe against the pipeline linking Gulf with Europe. If Europe receive gas/oil directly from Near East, Russia can lose market, negotiation capabilities and down of gas/oil price and its lucre.

Well the Russians aren't the only ones who are becoming disappointed with Trump. I am as well... I hope it's not a trend and he goes back to do what his supporters wanted him to do. The Americans who voted him into office.

Not really. Besides a lot of talk, what can be done to Russia really? There is not much trade between Russia and the US. Russia has invested too much into Syria to just drop their support. No way will they do it.
