    People nowadays don't read anymore, which I find very sad.

    In addition to that, all of these books you'll find in a musty, dusty classical section. If you take one from the shelf you'll choke on the hundred year's worth of dust collected on it. Many of these books have been made into movies, which is why I try to represent them with an image the viewer of this thread might be familiar with. When greeted by a familiar image, the person is much more likely to tackle the book.
