btw. it has been a long time since I had maths lol . it is just that I noticed that some things are illogical to me . 3 should be the middle value . take my hand/finger example . also why cant you divide through 0 ? it should be possible because for example 2 divided by 0 should equal 2 because you have the 2 and have dividided it through nothing so the 2 is untouched

this is because you are using a discrete interval from 1 to 5. (1+5)/2 = 3.

I dont care if I sound like a dumbass I was even studiying for a while but as I said it has been a relatively long time since I had maths (and intervals etc) so I will ask anyway : in which interval would the value be 2.5 ?
