There is much documentation on WASP ideologies and economics/social values. They are generally pro-business/free-market + socially liberal/fiscally conservative. They do not espouse the nationalism and social conservatism that is rampant in republican ideology and rhetoric today. That is the result of the southern and bible belt infiltration of the party.

Yup. I am very fiscally conservative, socially liberal and I am a Protestant. I am not a fan of Socialism unless you have the money to pay for it and I believe you need a strong business environment to remain a healthy country and it help keep public debt low. I do not believe in showing off wealth and believe in modesty.
I do also think Taxes should have lower marginal rates but I believe in a progressive tax system. I do not believe in complete government ran healthcare I think competition is needed to help bolster incentive to make the system better and more efficient.
This is probably different than what Scandinavians believe, IDK.
Are my American Anglo-Saxon ways much different than continental Europe thinking??

I also think that African Americans are very much a part of the Anglo-Saxon world they have been in our country since the beginning basically. Many of them follow the same ideals and culture.
