Honestly, I put the blame on the teacher too. If you teach 10 year old kids, you're going to have to put up with some shit - one of them might even throw a tantrum and act out physically. Your reaction should not, in any way at all, involve the police though. Can't do your job without breaking down and crying to the goddamn police?!? Chances are you should not be a teacher! Your job is literally to teach these kids right from wrong and hope that, one day, they can be a functioning part of society, not to inflict trauma onto them and their families because of a very minor incident.

Was he in a special center for autists?
Personally i wouldnt want my child to sit in same classroom with an autist child,one day he cracks and who knows what he can do.

The term is 'baaligh' which means 'majority'. So whatever age where the person knows right from wrong and also is to be held responsible for his/her actions.

For eg...Sleepwalker commits murder or zina...wont be held accontable for it.
Sleeping mom rolls over and crushes her infant, etc....
