Default For which Far East Asian ppl you have stereotype they're superior over other East Asians?

    And why?

So we're talking about sterotype in your head, which Far East Asian ppl comes to your mind if you're asked this question from thread?

    Means Superior culturally, mentally, spiritually...

To me, first nation which comes to my mind are: Japanese.

Nevermind they took a lot of Chinese civilization in distant past, but they developed their own unique one. And they're unique.

    Your opinion?

Chinese: they're the most populous, most powerful and until relatively recently quite isolated from most of the world.

Historically, clearly Chinese civilization was the hegemon in East Asia. There was no Western equivalent to it in Europe after Rome collapsed. If Rome survived to this day occupying 80% of Europe's territory and homogenizing Northern and Southern Europeans into one Latin speaking empire, then Europe would have an equivalent to China's dominance in East Asia.

However, as far as recent history, Japan was obviously the first Asian country to industrialize and modernize. Therefore, in modern times, they have been developed the longest, and have been able to significantly develop their HDI levels, consumer products, pop culture, etc.

However, this period is quickly fading away as China has rapidly reformed and industrialized since it opened up in 1978 after many decades of failed Communist policies, and prior to that, war and chaos. China has already overtaken Japan in most scientific/technological fields, and I predict in the next 20 years will start matching its pop culture influence, and probably match the HDI levels in the next 30 years.

But China is on a whole other scale, it is a massive nation. So the impact of its modernization/industrialization will be felt deeply all across the world.

You can't beat my Chinese in Age of Empires 2.

I don't think Chinese are superior to Japanese or Korean though and culturally I think Japanese and Koreans are ahead of Chinese today, but Chinese have the numerical advantage and the brainpower to have the potential to outperform them in the future.

It’s important to say, that on upcoming 8 April we will mark our national day. It’s disrespectful from Non Profit organisations to claim ,,international “ Roma day. We are one Nation, with one race for which we have paid huge price during WWII and with one language rooted to Hindi. We are the Romani nation. - Michael Daduc The Roma Nation Movement
Germany is showing us what could soon happen to us in Austria with a left-wing Austro traffic light. Do we want a situation where we can no longer choose the heating system, but we can choose the gender? Hardly likely! Only a strong FPÖ and a Freedom Party People's Chancellor will know how to prevent such nonsense. - Herbert Kickl FPÖ Bundesobmann

Well, I prefer to use "influential" instead of "superior". If we consider historical facts and events, Chinese are the most influential East Asian people. From ancient to modern era.

However, I'm more interested in Japanese and Koreans. I like the way they managed to make their countries great, promoting and spreading their cultures, and gaining worldwide reputation.

There's also the theory that the European nations progressed as they have because they had to compete with one another. That would be less the case if the Roman Empire survived. We'd all speak a language that'd be like Italian probably instead of me speaking a Germanic language and non-Italian Romance speaking people speaking a Romance language that was influenced by the Germanic, Celtic and Slavic speakers around them.

But how would we progress if we were unified as one empire? That might have been a weakness.

And that's the reason why the Barbarians did a big contribution to Europe by finishing the Roman Empire.

Mongols obviously. Genghis Khan fathered a large portion of the world. Although I see Mongols as a transitive ethnicity between North, Central, and East Asia.
