    I dont think it is Greek, but I have heard that the Palestinian accent is particularly unintelligable to other Arabs. Palestine has a lot of historic cultural influences.

    In my experience, other Arabs understand Levantine dialects.

    The Moroccan dialect can't be understood by most Arabs because it's heavily Berber with Berber syntax and grammar and not to mention French and Spanish influence. Egyptian is understood because it's the hollywood of the region, but it's also less divergent compared to the Darjia dailects of North Africa.

    Levantine dailects are very easy to understand for people across the Mideast. However the Gazan dialect of Palestine is more Egyptian like.
