One state with a government that does not give either group unlimited power over the other, like how Lebanon's government is divided by religious group so no one group has too much power.
Jews deserve a home in the Levant, which is where they originate as a people, but Israel cannot be both Jewish-centric at the expense of Palestinians, and Democratic. Ethnocentric states can never be fully democratic if they have a diverse population.

Both sides should just learn each other's language. The Palestinians could have had their state if they had a widespread non-violent resistance movement. There was a documentary about non-violent resistance in Palestine and the Palestinians were able to push encroaching Israeli borders back. The Palestinians have been repeatedly offered very generous deals in international conferences by Israel, but the Palestinian leadership is stubborn and has rejected them all. Ultimately, the Palestinian leaders do not want a Palestinian state, they want an Islamic caliphate. Just because Palestine's leadership is full of stubborn dickheads, doesn't give Israel the right to attack with ridiculously lopsided retaliatory force and inflict massive civilian casualties. A one state solution with Palestinians having full citizenship is probably the best solution. If Israel implemented a program targeting Palestinians to raise their standard of living, the Palestinians would probably be less likely to rebel.
