Europoid Lulan mummy found in west China is ancestor of local Turks

Discovery of Lulan mummy created ethnic tensions in far western China (Xinjiang)because mummy clearly not East Asian/Mongoloid but mostly Europoid proto-Turkic type. So its like scientific proof area never belonged to Chinese in history.



Uighurs call the mummy 'our grand mother, and mummy became part of Uighur national identity and separatism from China. Lulan mummy is today hot ethnic-social topic in China. Lulan is more than historical artifact in China. Chinese authorities hide Lulan and the mummy not open anymore to public visit.

Some years ago in China, motivated by Lulan and result Of Uighurs DNA tests proving they are not East Asian race, Uighurs organised riots and Chinese state suppress with violence then massive executions (hanging) after short trials by Communist party. China said 'we fight against al Qaeda, but this is Bs. There are more ethnic Han Chinese Muslims (Hui) than Uighurs and the Muslim Chinese didn't participate in riots. So proof it wasnt bigot religious radical riots but riots pointing ethnic identity based on racial differences

Baseless hypothesis. same way Rethel says Finns, Hungarian, Eston and whatnot little groups in Russia mustn't exist as we know them today. Mummy is proto Turkic anyway clearly nobody closer to mummy than Uighurs. Issue is serious China, state authorities really hide as they fear riots by local folk.
