Well, I am one, or so I'm told, but seriously, I speak up for myself and I'm not a pushover, but I have a tendency towards courtesy and respect that I realise has been really fucking detrimental to me. It's not really appreciated in this society and I need to be able to be more cruel when needed.

Some ways of being assertive are more productive than others. I'm more interested in being an effective arsehole than in being an arse that get nothing done.
