This is the estimates based on the trends in 2008. It's based on a snapshot in time. The situation in 2018 could be very different. 40-years ago, based on the then current trends, the population of the US was suppose to top out at 276 million around 2030 & then start declining. As of today it is 305,756,253.

Trying to make estimates 50 years into the future is unrealistic, let alone more then a hundred years.

Edit: Hawaii never had a White majority, not even close to one. New Mexico always had a large Hispano & Native Amerindian population, though Whites (called Anglos in the Southwest) were a majority for several decades until the late 20th century.

You are all welcome to live in the central part of Pa. I think this area is about 98% or so white population. The two major cities of Pa., Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are where the black and brown populations are. The politics in those cities are dominated by the socialist liberal Democrat party. The central, rural areas are practically a different state.

Why will West Virginia remain majority White the longest?

West Virginia is the 2nd poorest and least urbanized state in America.

Third world immigrants usually only go to highly urbanized states with big cities and booming economies. West Virginia is all rural and working class. Therefore, it's not attractive at all for third world immigrants.

The only parts of the state revieving a third world immigrant influx are Monogahalia Country (only becuase West Virginia University) is there) and Berkeley County (Which borders Loundon County, VA. and is essentially an outreach of theWashington DC suburbs).

As long as West Virginia remains rural and poor third world immigrants won't want to settle there.

Did you know that West Virginia has the lowest Mestizo population for any American state!

There are a few Blacks in the southern part of the state who are the remnants of the Blacks who labored in the coal mines there before the WW2 era. But however, there numbers have remained stagnant in recent years and they aren't going up.

And besides, all dem brothas and sistas don't like the mountains anyway .

Also from what I've heard West Virginia is getting alot of White flight refugees from the New York/New Jersey and Chicago/DC metropolitan areas.

Pennsylvania doesn't appear to be a major immigrant attractor. Also note that neighboring Ohio is second to last. Pennsylvania and Ohio both very large white populations similar in size to those of Texas, Florida, or Illinois. It will take the brown people ages to crawl up to 9+ million, especially with the black birthrate sinking.

I don't know your source, but many official records (such as U.S. census records) include Jews and many Arabs in the "white" category, which could significantly impact those statistics.

Not really, they are only about 4% total of the population, and the states where most of them live are expected to already 'go dark' rather early (California and DC already are)

Pretty hard to make "estimate" about white future in America, Pat Buchanan posted an article four years ago about white being a minority in the US by 2050 according to today's birthrate and immigration. Things will change, immigration and birthrate will change also. There are some reasons to be optimistic.
