I did not know about CONVOY oF LIBERTY at Prague in April 2017.
CONVOY OF LIBERTY is traditionally tied with the city of Plzeň (Pilsen) what was actually liberated by American Army (unlike Prague), therefore I googled what does it means.
I have found more info at this site.
There is said that the convoy of the historical military vehicles will appear at Plzeň, actually, to celebrate the end of the WW2, there.
Just started its road at Prague, in the front of US Embassy, there.

People in April and May 1945 mostly did not care whether the Nazis will be removed from their town by Americans, Soviets and or by Romanians. They welcomed them all.
Communists taken power in 1948 not in 1945, and without any presence of Soviet units in our country - unlike in Poland or Hungary.

in 1945 maybe not. But now it is totally opposite. You know that every year there is a huge CZ celebration with center in Plzeň. All it is about the US Army....
