ubfortunately these stories are just town legends without facts, the facts are some lonely criminal cases in red army about looting and rape of germanians.

Well, during communism I have seen the same map but with different inscriptions:
Area liberated by Soviet Army
Area occupied by American Army

I was upset for the politization of the history and found it ridiculous.
Ridiculous for me is also when reverse politization of history, today.

If you are asking about the cases of looting and raping by the Soviet forces, it happened too, unfortunatelly - but it was a taboo to talk about it during communism.
Number of people who remember the last days of WW2 is decreasing, and each person had its own personal experience - positive or negative one, or both.
And people mostly dont wish to remember the worse things.
I am against politization of history and I prefer to mention both sides of the story.
During communism the only thing what I can read at textbooks of history at school about role of Americans in WW2 at our country, was, that their Air Forces bombed Czech towns and factories.
Nothing about Plzeň people who welcomed them as liberators.
I was born in 1970s and perhaps it is the reason why I am sensitive for simillar cherrypicking .

1) Взятие = conquering
2) Освобождение = liberation

IMHO the difference is that
1) To the country/area/town entered troops what were not welcomed by the locals
2) To the country/area/town entered troops what were welcomed by the locals

In archive at Opava I have seen a Soviet military newspaper (dated April 1945) with article named
ГОРОД ТРОППАУ ВЗЯТ!

I was disappointed that the titel had not name
ГОРОД ОПАВА ОСВОБОЖДЕН!

Nevertheless, majority of Opava (Troppau) dwellers, until 1946 were German-speaking.
