"Free, do you call yourself? Then I would hear your ruling thought, and not merely that you have escaped from a yoke. Are you one of those who had the right to escape from a yoke? Many a one has cast away his last worth when he has cast away his servitude. Free from what? What does that matter to Zarathustra! But your fiery eyes should tell me: free for what?" - Thus Spoke Zarathustra

Also, what do Americans play ceremonially during the 11th.
The Commonwealth traditionally plays the British Cavalry trumpet call called Last Post.

The only song that I can associate with Veteran's Day is Taps. Not specific to Veteran's Day, but it's played as they place a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

This is the 25th Infantry Division Memorial in Hawaii. Although these are statues, I believe that they still convey emotions that veterans feel about one of their own. I am posting this photo to show respect to all personnel of all branches, past and present.

Just a quick hooah to my fellow vets on Veteran's Day. Active, Guard, and Reserve; during peacetime, training, and hot zones; you answered when your state and nation called, and I salute you. Clear the LZ and pop a cold one for the kids that never came home.
