Tourist BEATEN to a PULP by Turkish nationalists and forced to say 'I love Turkey'

A TOURIST was left bloodied and beaten by patrolling Turkish nationalists after he refused to hold a Turkish flag.

The horrifying scene captured the moment the sick Turkish nationalists expressed their delight after beating the poor tourist up.

The grisly footage sees the gang approach a French tourist on the streets of Ankara.

The tourist is alone and does not appear to be able to speak Turkish, according to Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet.

The thugs hand the man a Turkish flag and yell: "You will be punched if you don’t hold the flag.

“You have to hold the flag if we give it to you."

During the clip, the thugs viciously beat the French man.

The tourist's face can be seen badly bruised and bleeding with one eye closed up.

The gang then force the tourist to repeat after them: "I love Turkey. I am Turkish."

The attack was caught on Snapchat by one of the men behind the ambush

He captioned the video: "He didn’t take Turkish flag so we beat the crap out of him."



The gang then let the beaten and bruised tourist free and he is seen hobbling away down the street.

The aggressive reaction since the coup has also seen a severe drop of around 53 per cent in tourism in the country.

The country's tourist industry is experiencing the worst summer since the early 1990s.

Tourists or locals who don't support the cause of emotionally charged political rallies and protests should stay the hell away. It's not rocket science.
