    Default UK General Election 2017

I will start out with a question for all the TA Members who are interested UK politics:

UKIP support is below 10% and the trend this year looks extremely negative. What do you think about this and what is your understanding of why that is so?

Because the UK voted to leave the EU leaving the UKIP to be looked at in other ways. Paul Nuttall being seen as a bit rubbish. May pretending to talk very right wing when she is a centralist really. Theresa May is weak, cold, lacks personalty and scared of the public, but Corbyn's far left views a gift to her. England doesnt take him seriously.

It will be a very boring election and show Westminsters first past the post political system for the undemocratic joke that it is.

I haven't studied Nuttall, neither Corbyn, but I agree that May's position is generally misunderstood. Interesting analysis you posted.

My doorbell rang on Saturday morning and when I spoke through the intercom, some people said they were from the Conservative party and could I take my time and stop what I'm doing to listen to them lecture me about their political views. (No way.)

I quietly told them I was busy and didn't let them in... but I silently felt incensed and disgusted that people could try to push their political views onto others. (Like they did with all the pro-EU leaflets posted through peoples doors prior to the Brexit election last year.... it went straight into my paper shredder.)

They were nosey Tories who wanted to know who I plan to vote for - which is none of their damn business. (I sure don't want to vote for the Tories/pig shaggers/Conservative pigs though.)

I don't like the vast majority of corrupt and stinking politicians in the Lib/Lab/Con parties.

I like the Green Party (for helping nature and the environment,) UK Independence Party (UKIP - for being against the corrupt EU dictators,) British Republicans (for being against the parasitic monarchy,) and English Democrats (for English independence from the UK.)

I like Jeremy Corbyn as he seems honest and sincere, (although I think his views on some subjects are a bit too soft,) but the Labour party is currently divided with half of their party still being corrupt Blairites. (I think Corbyn should form his own party with the Labour MP's that support Corbyn joining it to represent something closer to original Labour Party away from Blair/Brown/Miliband's 'New Labour'.)

I hate the LibDems (their party name is a misnomer and they're Tories in disguise as they sided with the Conservative coalition party over Labour, and they have the least respect for democracy and are the most pro-EU party and they don't respect the Brexit vote. They have dishonest politicians who stole public taxmoney for their living expenses in their party, like with the Labour and Conservative politicians... as well as paedophiles amongst them.) I'm not going to support disgraceful parties with paedophiles and tax-thieves amongst them.

When people try to push their political views onto you by turning-up uninvited while you're in the sanctuary of your home, it feels as invasive as those jehovahs religious nuts who rudely try to invade on peoples privacy and push their sick and warped religious views onto others.

How would they like it if someone turned up at their door uninvited and started pushing their views onto them, telling them how to dress and style their homes, what music to listen to, what to believe in, who they should vote for, etc.

UKIP are viewed as a single isue party i.e. leaving the EU. Since this issue is now half completed they are perceived to have little purpose. This is not true - they have other policies - but most people don't care to find out. It is partly UKIP's own fault though for playing the populist game.

Well you know when it is an election. They come out for your votes, in the public.

    What, Mormons?

I doubt I'll bother to vote at all this time. UKIP should call it a day and make way for the BNP or a similar party.

It's a time for anyone who is interested in politics to have that talk with whoever they want to talk with... You have the chance to tell politicians to their face things that you usually can't reach them about, and so on...
