Where's your favorite place to grab a burger?

I'm sure there are. Unfortunately, these "internationals" give the US no credibility in regards to its cuisine. All that are shared is shitty burgers, shitty pizza and sugar-laden fizzy drinks.

I think I should just move to a different country and open a genuine high quality American steakhouse or even a high quality Cajun/Creole restaurant. I can seriously cook, and I think many people overseas haven't really tried the best of American cuisine.

It pisses me off that people think McDonalds when they think American food. lol

There are plenty of American burgers that are fresh and top notch, but it's only the shitty fast food burgers that get exported to the rest of the world, so that's become synonymous with America. #facepalm

Do it! There is a huge dearth of quality American steakhouses in the Bay Area. (discounting the handful in SF)
