Pretty much. I wouldn't have a problem if she just said that she was moving past that phase. Instead, she chooses to throw the whole genre under the bus and act like she's too good for it. She basically used hip-hop for her financial gain and threw it away afterwards
If she really had issues with the misogyny in mainstream hip-hop, she could have just worked with conscious rappers from the start. Instead she compromised her supposed "morals" and made some shit raunchy music. It just seems like she used the culture to show people "I'M NOT HANNAH MONTANA ANYMORE", and then discarded the genre like it's beneath her.
