I have sympathies for many Slavic speaking countries but not because they are Slavic speaking but e.g. because some part of their culture; I e.g. in general like Russia. I like them not because I have to but because I see a reason to like them. I am an individualist I need my personal space I could breath. I don't feel comfortable when somebody tries to deny my identity and claim me I am somebody else or a relative with someone.
First of all my mother language is Indo-European - there is a connection between all I-E cultures. No need to divide all these people into many subgroups.
