On a serious note, there are very expensive/posh cities in "la banlieue"and some "ghetto" neighborhoods in Paris. Les Hauts de Seine (92, a department in "la banlieue") is richer than Paris itself.... some places in 94 (Val de Marne) are rich too.
"La banlieue" is stereotyped a lot, it's not more dangerous than Paris which is a very touristic city... The North of Paris is not the place to be though
