According to my recent estimates Moorish genetic input in Iberia must be around 20%.
.
Comparison of North African admixture levels in MDLP K16 calculator:
.
Moroccan 27.4%
Spanish 5.71%
Portuguese 6.20% (Viriato has ~8% by the way)
French - 0.99%
English - 0.69%
Basque 0.79%
.
There is no doubt that it was Moors who brought this component to Iberia and they were probably similar to modern Moroccans (though less SSA admixed than today) genetically, later Moroccans received extra Subsaharan admixture due to intermarriage with migrating Saharan tribes
.
.
Numerically disadvantaged Moors conquered the peninsula and ruled Iberians for 800 years...

.
and as a result of these historical events... Modern Iberians have Saharid and Berberid influenced phenotypes and this admixture is also visible in their autosomal DNA
