I read quite a bit on them after I learned that one of my cousins and her husband had been taken in by the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Scooped them up without an issue, after they moved into a big city and started having issues with finances, the JWs appeared out of nowhere and helped them, got her husband couple of one time jobs here and there, perhaps even paid for couple of their apartment rents.

It would sound so nice and lovely if my cousin wasn't psychologically unstable (and quite childish), and the thing I fear the most, is that the JWs could outcast her one day and her husband will side with the JWs (which as I've read has happened quite often), while all of her real family has practically outcast her already (Croat part of my family, devout Catholics). Not to mention they moved to Germany last year, again with the helping hand of the good JWs.

What the Russian government is doing is an attempt to control people's lives by not allowing them to make decisions for themselves. Jehovah Witnesses are harmless religious retards. They don't get involved in politics and so King Putin need not worry if they'll be used by Western governments to undermine him.

That would be a legitimate fear with Mormons. Mormons learn different languages to preach their nonsense and so they're heavily recruited by US intelligence agencies but Jehovah Witnesses don't involve themselves with governments and politics.

Not meaning to downplay your concern because it is an understandable concern having a family member become absurd but I was thinking if I was your cousin's situation I would be all like, "Oh, yeah... Jesus... end of the world... lets go spread the word, while you take care of my financial needs..." And then when in a better financial position I'd be all like, "Yeah, um, I'm not going to do that stupid shit anymore. Go fuck yourselves."

I wouldn't be able to pull it off, I'm sure. I wouldn't be able to keep from rolling my eyes and making snarky comments. Jehovah Witnesses are really goofy.
