actually it really depends on how much ive been drinking. i.e. the more i drink the more fluent i get.
Same for my German, Italian and Korean; however i never took any of those in school and learned while living those places.
When i was in HS i wanted to take German because the German teacher had great tits...but my dad said that was stupid because no one speaks German in the US and wanted me to take Spanish.
I ended up living in Germany for almost 4 years, so yea. Thanks Dad.

I'm probably flattering myself, but I voted "conversational". I think I can get a point across, though it takes me a while to get there.
