Default italiani che si sono uniti nello ypg /italians that joined the ypg

2 italians who joined the ypg have been arrested along with 7 other kurdish fighters in erdibil by kurdish peshmergas
the 2 italians have been freed and they're now in italy.
the italian government cares about its citizens who went to fight isis.

he criticizes the italian authorities who accuse him of being a latitant. (he was a no tav militant )
he claims to have joined the ypg not to flee but to fight isis , a group that rapes women , kills children who listen to music , who make terrorist attacks in europe.
he then justifies the use of arms as a legitimate self defence. indeed you can't defend yourself in that hell that is now syria without carrying a rifle.
he then asks the italian authorities to think about what their allies (turkey, qatar and saudi arabia) are doing in the region so they might understand the difference between unjustified violence and justified violence to fight against the barbary done by such states

the guy in the video isnt the only one, he is from turin. there are 5 people who have joined the ypg , among them a son (or rather a grandson???) of a partisan who after seeing the syrian tragedy chose to join the ypg

joining the ypg isnt a crime like joining another army abroad. fighting against terrorism is allowed. to join all you need is looking on facebook, finding the right contacts , doing a talking online . the travel? half is on slaymaniyah city and with only 1000 euros and 13 hours of travel you're done.

there are about 50,000 fighters , 5 italians and 1/3 are females

"Vinceremo. Ma il prezzo sarà alto".

they took you in their base at derek city in syria after a 6 hours travel in car. you can choose if you want to fight in the front live or not and you can leave whenever you want. but no phone no personal objects . we will give you whatever you want and you'll be safe , no chance to get kidnapped by terrorism. the victory chances are high but there is an high price to pay

Reminds me of that Dutch former-military man who decided to join YPG. Back in the Netherlands he got arrested and was forced to give up his passport and present himself to the local police once every week (he's suspected of 'murder' of ISIL fighters, meh). The Public Prosecution Service claimed that one shouldn't play for own judge, even if it's fighting ISIL.

    Here a link in Dutch:

Perhaps you can google translate it to make sense. I realise this is the Italian section.

    it is legal here
the only danger is being arrested by turkish and syrian authorities (well islamists too ), the italian authorities would instead mediate to free you from the kurdish ones as they did for 2 italians

in belgium even that former isil fighter received i warmer welcome i bet lol

a british citizen , ex soldier, faced a similar situation in his home country . he wanted to join but was stopped.

Besides Jitse Akse, there is also a second Dutch YPG fighter I know of. Richard Jansen. He got wounded fighting ISIL, but swore once he recovered he'll go back to fight in support of YPG. No idea where he is today.

Only news from 2015 about him. I guess he got prevented from fighting by the same Dutch authorities.
