Nonsense, noone is punished in Europe for insulting God. What happens is that you get the occasional fine (which happens Rarely) when you repeatedly offending national symbols in an annoying, distasteful way). Like in pee Christ for example.

That would be defamation against islam, defamation against muslims would be saying that all muslim are potential terrorist, or that all muslim have a double loyalty(to the international islamic comunity and to their contrie), and therefore they cant be trust worthy citizes.

In Argentina You can literraly bandalize a catholic church, punch a priest or a nun, and if you say that you did it because of freedom of speach you are totally free of charge, you can also openlly acusse evangellical pastors of being coon artist and umbanda chamans of being drug deelers and practicing ritual murders and nobody will put a demand on you.
But if you mock of somebody for being jewish, your entire career as comedian could be ruined.

Of course they get fined, theoretically at least. They don't get their right hand cut. . And it all depends on the context. Keep in mind, though, that repression of blasphemy is more severe than defamation. I'm not sure the kind of caricatures you find in Charlie Hebdo or Jyllands Posten would be permitted in these countries.

I think it's fair enough to punish defamation. Too much freedom can be prejudicial to religious minorities.

One good example: innocent Muslims in Orlando who had to endure slurs, insults and threats after the Orlando massacre last year.
